What is GameOnz?

GameOnz™ is a Web 3.0 architected and implemented application and service for Sports Parents and the groups they belong to. It allows parents to centralize and unify team and event information, communicate, enhance and share it, ultimately improving organization and coordination between other parents, coaches, and fans.

How do I download GameOnz on my iPhone?

To install the GameOnz on your iPhone, navigate to the Apple App Store on your phone or computer. Type "GameOnz" into the search box. Click on the application with the silver background and green 'GO' in the search results and download. The application will then install itself on your iPhone and you will be ready to get your GameOnz!

How do I download GameOnz on my Android?

First, navigate to the Android Market, and search GameOnz. When you select 'GameOnz,' the item details screen will appear and you will be able to read a little more about GameOnz. To download the application, select the FREE button. You will then select OK to accept the permissions for the application, then the item will start downloading immediately.

How do I download GameOnz on my BlackBerry?

To download GameOnz, you have to connect your device to your computer using a USB cable and be logged in to the BlackBerry App World using your BlackBerry ID.

1. Search GameOnz.
2. Click "GameOnz"
3. Click "Download."
4. Complete the instructions on the screen to purchase GameOnz.
5. Click "Begin Sync."

I've downloaded GameOnz, now how do I Join and Team?

To join a Team on the iPhone application, please take the following steps:

1. Tap on the Teams icon from the Home Screen
2. Tap the (+) in the upper right hand corner of the screen and select "Join a Team"
3. All of the Teams in your home State will be listed on the screen. You may use the search box to manually search your teams Name, City, State, or Zip.
4. Select your Team and select your role on the Team (Fan, Player, Parent, Coach, Cheerleader)
5. Tap "Join" in the upper right hand corner of the screen to join the Team.

What are Updates?

Any activity on GameOnz associated with a team you are a part of will show up in your "Updates" feed. Any Photo that is uploaded, Event that is created, Message that is sent, or Score that is updated will show up in your "Updates" feed.

How do I create my own Team on GameOnz?

WEB:

On your computer, select the gray arrow next to "My Teams." From there, select "Create Team" and follow the steps.

Mobile:

1. Navigate to the Teams page from the Home Screen.
2. Tap the (+) in the upper right hand corner of the page and select "Create a Public Team"
3. Enter Team information.
4. Select Done, and your team will be created!

What is the difference between a Public and a Private team?

A Public Team can be searched for by any user across the GameOnz platform. Any user will have the ability to join the Team, upload photos to the Team page and Events, view other followers of the Team, and update scores to Games the team is participating in.

A Private Team will not show up in search results of other GameOnz users. When a user creates a Private Team, they will invite other users to join their Team. Messaging and content within a Private Team will only be visible to members of that Team. These groups are beneficial to alumni associations and social groups that would like to coordinate events and meetings around teams of a common interest.

How do I upload a Photo to GameOnz?

Mobile:

1. Navigate to the "Photos" icon on the home screen.
2. Tap the camera icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
3. From here, you may either upload a photo from your iPhone's library, or take a photo from within the application.
4. After a photo is taken, or selected, you will be prompted to "tag" a Team in which the photo relates to.
5. Tag your team, and your photo will be uploaded.

WEB:

1. Navigate to the "Photos" tab along the left hand side of your screen.
2. Select "Add a Photo" in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
3. Select a photo from your files and upload.
*Any photo you upload to GameOnz can easily be shared on Facebook and Twitter.

How do I send a message from my Contacts list?

Mobile:

To send a message from your contact list simply click on the user you wish to send a message to. From here, scroll down the profile page and select "Send Message." From here, compose your message and select "Send."

Web:

Select "Contacts" on the left hand side of your screen. From here, you can send a message to any of your contacts by selecting "Send Message" next to their name.

What is a notification?

A notification will appear when a user invites you to join a private team. Your invitation will show up in the notifications section. From here, you will have the option to either accept or decline the invitation.
